The
T.A.B.E. test
T.A.B.E.
stands for “Test for Adult Basic Education.” This valuable tool
helps you determine your academic grade point level.
After the test, you’ll know if
remediation is needed. The test offered at Jobs ETC is the TABE 7, Level
D. This is the short version. Only the long version is
accepted at Manatee Technical Institute. The test takes 2 hours. An
appointment is needed.
The
S.A.G.E.
S.A.G.E.
stands for “Self Assessment Group Evaluation.” It is a test that
helps you find your strengths and the best types of employment for
you.
Computer
assessments include reading, math, dexterity, and clerical and
personal preferences. The test is delivered in 2 hour segments and
takes 3.5 hours to complete. An assessment specialist is available
by appointment to assist you. Inquire at the front desk.
