Financial aid and special grants are offered when available.
Suncoast Workforce has training opportunities available through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). First you must complete the intake process and qualify for the program. Suncoast Workforce specializes in training for demand occupations. These occupations are identified by labor market information where employment demands are high and pay suitable wages for Manatee and Sarasota counties. This training list is updated as demands for employment change. Informational sessions held regularly at Suncoast Workforce with no appointment required. These information sessions require approximately 90 minutes of your time to see what new doors can be opened in your career.
