Unemployment Compensation
Unemployment Compensation Claim Handbook’s are available at any Suncoast Workforce One-Stop Career Center. The handbook describes the process.
Your options are:
- Complete the application in the Unemployment handbook and mail or fax.
- Use the Resource Room computers at any Suncoast Workforce location to file your claim.
- Use any other internet accessible computer to file your claim on the Unemployment Compensation Claims Center website.
For assistance with the Unemployment Compensation claim process, call 1-800-204-2418 to speak with a Customer Service Representative at the Unemployment Compensation central processing center.
If you are an out of state claimant, the Florida unemployment booklet also provides you with your state contact information to complete your claim.
Unemployment Compensation mail claims are no longer filed at Suncoast Workforce.
