Occupational
Network (O*NET) - O*NET allows employers to determine which
skills are necessary for particular jobs.
They can then use this information to identify skill gaps in
their workforce or potential areas for skills training/upgrade.
Employers can also use the information in O*NET to write want
ads, position descriptions and the like.

Florida’s Research and
Economic Database (FRED) – This interactive database creates
an on-line system containing much of the data used by job seekers
and employers. Employers
can see how their industry compares with their peers; locally and
statewide. Employers
can also look at wages, occupation projections and more.
Most of the LMI used by an employer can be found in FRED.
