RFA: REQUEST FOR TRAINING VENDOR APPLICANTS

The Suncoast Workforce is now accepting Training Vendor Applications for Program Year 2013-2014 (July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014). This application process will identify qualified training institutions to provide targeted occupational training in skill areas of sustained labor market demand or growth. To be considered for inclusion on the Region 18 Approved Training Vendor and Program list for 2013-2014, vendors must submit complete applications no later than 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Applications submitted after that date may not be considered.

Training Vendors are strongly encouraged to attend the Informational Session scheduled to answer any questions regarding the application process. The Informational Session will be held on May 3, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Suncoast Workforce office, 3660 N. Washington Blvd, Sarasota, FL, 34234.

Complete signed applications, with all required attachments, can be submitted electronically to ediesen@suncoastworkforce.org or delivered to:

  • Suncoast Workforce Training Vendor Criteria
  • 2013-2014 Training Vendor Application
  • Appendix “A” Program Description (with Cost Reporting Addendum)
  • Appendix “B” ADA Building Facility Accessibility checklist
  • 2013-2014 Preliminary Regional Targeted Occupations List (subject to final approval)
  • 2013-2014 Preliminary Regional SOC to CIP Linkage/Crosswalk

Final contracting is contingent upon Workforce Florida’s final approval of Regional Targeted Occupations, and local Board approval of Training Vendor applications.
