Job Seekers - Job Fairs

Every month Jobs ETC holds Job Fairs, where job seekers can meet employers actively seeking to hire employees. 

Each week, employers gather at the One Stops to recruit employees. For the job seeker, it means you have the opportunity to meet with employers who are hiring - IMMEDIATELY! 

TIPS FOR SUCCESS

• Dress the part. You may get an interview on the spot or you may be asked to schedule an interview in the future.

• Bring your own pen. You'll be filling out applications.

• Bring your resume. Be sure it is updated and polished. Employers will want to see that you are ready to work - NOW!

• Practice smiling. Employers want positive attitudes.

• Relax and prepare to network.

While visiting Jobs ETC, you can register in the computer job search network. This will help employers find you - statewide. You can also learn to use our Resource Room, a computer lab full of state-of-the-art equipment, to search the database and obtain job referrals.
