Job Seekers - GED Classes

The GED diploma is awarded upon successful completion of a series of tests that measure a person's academic knowledge and skills in writing, social studies, science, interpreting literature and the arts, and mathematics. GED preparation classes are available.
 

Jobs ETC offices are open daily from 8-5, Monday thru Friday
Learning lab hours of operation are shown below:

Bradenton Hours: 
Monday through Friday: 8:00AM - 1:00PM.
To be eligible, one must be a Florida resident and 18 years of age or older.
 

Sarasota Hours:

Monday through Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

Monday and Wednesday evenings: 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
To be eligible, one must be a Florida resident and 16 years of age or older.
 

Venice Hours: 

Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

Monday and Wednesday evenings, 5:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

Closed Friday.

• Become a 21st Century employee - Assess and improve your job skills. More than 60 assessment tests are available in our learning lab. GED and a multitude of training programs can help update credentials. For other training and education, financial aid may be available.

• Fast-track your job search - With the Professional Placement Network (PPN), executives, managers and professionals network with others at the same career level to gain contacts and polish skills.
